eComm Final Project Reflection
Our project was pretty interesting. We don't really even know how we came up with it, but it stuck somehow. Our company was called Packbacks and we made the Infinity Pack, a backpack with the ability to pull almost anything out at will. The only thing you can not pull out is weapons and other things that could possibly threaten someone's life. It was about $130, which we thought was a reasonable price for a backpack that you could get almost anything from it. The presentation could have gone better. We kind of rushed through the process of actually trying to make a good one. Either way, I would say it was an ok presentation. We could have done a lot better though.
I'd say we used about 75% of our time in class to work and get it done. We all kind of didn't focus much at the beginning of the project because we just thought of random ideas that didn't really work and weird company names. We eventually got to Packbacks and the Infinity Pack, but before all that, it was pretty rough. I didn't use outside class time to work on this because I don't have any of the software to try to work on it. I couldn't do Power50 because I had other classes to go to. Our work ethic after we thought of our current company name, we worked pretty hard to finish before the deadline and present to everyone.
I found out that I'm a lot better with Adobe Illustrator than Photoshop, which led me to choose Graphic Design next year instead of Animation-Sorry Mr. Netterville-as well as Video. Being in e9 was a lot of fun and I hope next years freshmen have as much fun as I did.
I need to not talk as much and focus more because I see myself as a very social and outgoing person and try to connect with others around me. But sometimes you don't want to do that because you could have a job and you screw around during your shift, you could get fired and possibly not be able to find another job because it could be on your transcript. I try, but its hard sometimes.
I loved watching everyone else's projects and what they came up with, seeing all the different websites and really cool products. All the other products we very good and unique compared to ours and stuff. It's been a fun year and I'm going to miss Mr. Olson and the e9 classes.
